Terms of service
Last Updated: 18 July 2026
Welcome to Shairaa.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Shairaa website, online store, products, features, content, communication channels, and related services.
In these Terms, “Shairaa”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the business operating the Shairaa brand. “You”, “your”, “customer”, and “user” refer to any individual or entity accessing our website, placing an order, communicating with us, or using our services.
By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use our website or services.
1. About Shairaa
Shairaa is an online jewellery and accessories brand offering products through its website and other authorised sales channels.
The availability, materials, finish, size, colour, price, specifications, and other details of each product will be as stated on the relevant product page or communicated through an authorised Shairaa channel.
The legal entity operating Shairaa, its registered address, GST details, and other business information may be displayed on the website, invoices, order communications, or other legally required disclosures.
2. Eligibility to Use Our Services
You may use our website and purchase products only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law.
If you are a minor or are otherwise not legally competent to enter into a contract, you may use our website only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or lawful guardian.
By using our services, you represent that:
- The information provided by you is accurate and complete;
- You are authorised to use the payment method selected by you;
- You are legally permitted to enter into the transaction; and
- Your use of the website does not violate any applicable law.
3. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Shairaa.
Your use of our services may also be governed by additional policies published on our website, including our:
- Privacy Policy;
- Shipping and Delivery Policy;
- Cancellation Policy;
- Return, Exchange and Refund Policy;
- Payment Policy;
- Product Care Instructions; and
- Any product-specific or promotional terms.
These policies form part of these Terms. In case of a conflict between these Terms and a product-specific or promotional condition, the specific condition will apply to that product or promotion to the extent of the conflict.
4. Account Registration
You may be able to browse and purchase products as a guest or by creating an account, depending on the functionality available on our website.
When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information;
- Keep your account information updated;
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password and login details;
- Restrict unauthorised access to your account; and
- Inform us immediately if you suspect unauthorised activity.
You are responsible for activities carried out through your account unless the activity resulted from a security failure attributable to Shairaa.
We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, unauthorised activity, violation of these Terms, or a threat to the security of our website or customers.
5. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, videos, prices, sizes, specifications, availability, and other details are accurate.
However:
- Colours may appear differently depending on your device, display settings, lighting, and photography;
- Minor variations may occur in handcrafted, hand-finished, plated, stone-set, enamelled, or individually assembled products;
- Patterns, stone placement, texture, polish, finish, or dimensions may vary slightly between pieces;
- Product images may include props, styling elements, or enlarged views for presentation purposes; and
- Measurements and weights may be approximate and subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances.
Minor variations that do not materially affect the identity, functionality, or overall appearance of the product will not ordinarily be treated as defects.
6. Product Materials and Jewellery Disclosures
The material, plating, stone type, colour, finish, base metal, coating, and other characteristics of a product will be only as expressly stated on the relevant product page.
A product must not be assumed to contain gold, silver, platinum, natural diamonds, natural gemstones, precious metals, or hallmarked materials unless expressly described as such.
Words such as “gold”, “silver”, “rose gold”, “diamond”, “kundan”, “polki”, “pearl”, or similar terms may sometimes describe a product’s colour, finish, style, design, plating, or appearance rather than its underlying material. Please refer to the complete product description before purchasing.
Customers should contact us before placing an order if clarification regarding a product’s material or composition is required.
7. Product Care and Usage
Jewellery may require appropriate handling and care to preserve its appearance and finish.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, customers should avoid exposing jewellery to:
- Water and excessive moisture;
- Perfume, deodorant, hairspray, lotion, or cosmetics;
- Household chemicals and cleaning agents;
- Sweat for prolonged periods;
- Abrasive surfaces;
- Excessive heat or direct sunlight; and
- Improper storage or physical pressure.
Normal wear, fading, tarnishing, discolouration, stone loosening, scratching, plating deterioration, or damage resulting from improper use, storage, moisture, chemicals, or external force may not qualify as a manufacturing defect.
Any product-specific care instructions supplied with the product or displayed on the website should be followed.
8. Skin Sensitivity and Allergies
Individual skin sensitivity and allergic reactions vary from person to person.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not represent that every product is hypoallergenic or suitable for every skin type.
You should review the available material information before purchasing. Stop using the product immediately if you experience irritation, discomfort, redness, swelling, or another adverse reaction.
Shairaa will not be responsible for an individual allergic reaction where the product’s material was accurately disclosed, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
9. Sizes and Measurements
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size before placing an order.
Size charts, measuring guides, dimensions, and fit recommendations are provided for general assistance. Minor variations may occur because of product design and manufacturing tolerances.
For bangles, bracelets, rings, necklaces, or other size-sensitive products, you should carefully review the applicable size guide before ordering.
Returns, exchanges, or cancellations resulting from an incorrectly selected size will be governed by our Return, Exchange and Refund Policy.
10. Product Availability
All products and offers are subject to availability.
A product appearing on the website, being present in a shopping cart, or being included in an order acknowledgement does not guarantee that it remains available.
We may:
- Limit the quantity of a product available for purchase;
- Restrict sales to particular locations;
- Discontinue a product;
- Correct inventory errors;
- Reject unusually large or suspicious orders; or
- Cancel an order where the product is unavailable.
If payment has already been collected for an order that we cannot fulfil, the applicable amount will be refunded through the original payment method or another legally permitted method.
11. Pricing
Product prices will be displayed on the website at the time of purchase.
Applicable taxes, delivery charges, convenience charges, cash-on-delivery charges, or other charges, if any, will be disclosed on the product page or during checkout before the order is confirmed.
Prices may change without prior notice. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted by us, except where:
- There is an obvious pricing or technical error;
- The transaction is suspected to be fraudulent;
- The price was manipulated through unauthorised activity; or
- A correction is required by law.
We reserve the right to correct typographical, technical, catalogue, discount, or pricing errors.
If a material pricing error affects your order, we may contact you and allow you to confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel the affected item for a refund.
12. Discounts, Offers and Promotions
Discount codes, coupons, promotional prices, free gifts, cashback offers, prepaid discounts, and other benefits may be subject to separate conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Offers cannot be combined;
- Only one discount code may be applied per order;
- Offers may be restricted by product, collection, location, customer, payment method, or order value;
- Promotional benefits have no cash value;
- Free gifts cannot ordinarily be exchanged for money;
- Discounts may not apply to delivery or additional charges;
- An offer may be withdrawn or modified before an order is placed; and
- Misuse, duplication, resale, or unauthorised circulation of a promotion may result in cancellation.
If an order is partially cancelled or returned, the value of any discount, free gift, cashback, or promotional benefit may be recalculated.
13. Placing an Order
You are responsible for reviewing your order before submitting it, including:
- Product;
- Size;
- Colour or variant;
- Quantity;
- Price;
- Delivery address;
- Contact information;
- Payment method; and
- Applicable charges.
After you place an order, we may send an acknowledgement by email, SMS, WhatsApp, or another communication channel. An order acknowledgement confirms that we received your request but does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the order.
An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation, process the order for fulfilment, or dispatch the product, depending on the circumstances.
We may contact you to verify your identity, contact details, address, payment, or order before accepting or dispatching it.
14. Right to Refuse or Cancel an Order
We may refuse, hold, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including when:
- A product is unavailable;
- The price or product information contains an obvious error;
- Payment is unsuccessful or reversed;
- Customer verification is unsuccessful;
- The delivery address is incomplete, incorrect, or outside our serviceable area;
- The order appears fraudulent, unauthorised, or intended for unlawful resale;
- The customer has repeatedly refused cash-on-delivery orders;
- The order breaches a purchase limit or promotional condition;
- There has been misuse of our website, discounts, or policies;
- Fulfilling the order would violate law or regulatory requirements; or
- An event beyond our reasonable control prevents fulfilment.
Where an order is cancelled by us after successful payment, we will initiate the applicable refund within a reasonable period.
15. Payments
We may offer payment methods such as:
- Credit cards;
- Debit cards;
- Unified Payments Interface;
- Net banking;
- Wallets;
- Buy-now-pay-later services;
- Cash on delivery; or
- Other payment options displayed at checkout.
Payment services may be provided by third-party payment gateways, banks, financial institutions, or other service providers.
By selecting a payment method, you agree to the applicable provider’s terms and confirm that you are authorised to use that method.
Shairaa may not receive or store your complete card number, CVV, banking password, UPI PIN, or OTP. You must never disclose such confidential details to anyone claiming to represent Shairaa.
16. Payment Failure and Pending Transactions
An order will not be considered successfully paid merely because an amount appears to have been debited from your account.
In case of a failed, interrupted, pending, duplicated, or disputed transaction:
- Please check the final status with your bank or payment provider;
- The amount may be automatically reversed by the relevant provider;
- We may request a transaction reference or payment proof; and
- Processing time may depend on the bank, gateway, or payment network.
We will not be responsible for delays caused solely by banks or payment service providers, but we will provide reasonable assistance where possible.
17. Cash-on-Delivery Orders
Cash-on-delivery availability may depend on:
- Delivery location;
- Order value;
- Product type;
- Customer order history;
- Courier availability;
- Verification status; and
- Internal fraud-prevention checks.
We may contact you by telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, or email to confirm a cash-on-delivery order.
Failure to confirm the order may result in delayed dispatch or cancellation.
Repeated refusal, non-acceptance, or fraudulent placement of cash-on-delivery orders may result in restrictions on future orders or removal of the cash-on-delivery option.
18. Shipping and Delivery
Orders will be shipped in accordance with our Shipping and Delivery Policy.
Delivery dates and timelines displayed on the website or communicated to you are estimates and not guaranteed deadlines unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery may be affected by:
- Courier operations;
- Weather;
- Natural disasters;
- Public holidays;
- Strikes;
- Transport disruptions;
- Government restrictions;
- Incorrect address or contact information;
- Customer unavailability;
- Remote-location serviceability;
- Security checks; or
- Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and an active telephone number.
19. Delivery and Receipt of Products
A delivery may be made to:
- You;
- A family member;
- An employee;
- A receptionist;
- A security guard;
- A neighbour;
- An authorised representative; or
- Another person reasonably available at the delivery address.
Delivery to such a person may be treated as delivery to you unless you provided different written instructions that were accepted by us before dispatch.
Risk of loss or damage ordinarily passes to you once the product is successfully delivered to you or an authorised recipient.
You should inspect the package at the time of delivery wherever reasonably possible.
20. Damaged, Missing, Incorrect or Tampered Orders
If a package appears opened, damaged, or tampered with at delivery, you should refuse it where reasonably possible and contact us promptly.
Claims relating to:
- Missing products;
- Incorrect products;
- Physically damaged products;
- Empty packages;
- Tampered packages; or
- Quantity shortages
must be submitted in accordance with our Return, Exchange and Refund Policy.
We may require clear photographs, an unedited package-opening video, shipping labels, packaging material, invoice details, and other reasonable evidence to investigate the claim.
The absence of an opening video will not remove any right that cannot legally be waived, but it may affect our ability to verify certain claims where the condition of the package at opening is disputed.
21. Order Cancellation by the Customer
Customer cancellation requests will be governed by our Cancellation Policy.
An order may not be cancellable after it has been processed, packed, personalised, manufactured, or dispatched.
Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee cancellation. The cancellation will be effective only when confirmed by Shairaa.
Any cancellation charge, if applicable and legally permissible, will be disclosed in the relevant policy or before the cancellation is completed.
22. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Returns, exchanges, replacements, store credits, and refunds are governed by our Return, Exchange and Refund Policy.
Eligibility may depend on factors including:
- Product category;
- Product condition;
- Reason for return;
- Time elapsed since delivery;
- Hygiene and safety considerations;
- Availability of the requested replacement;
- Whether the product was customised or personalised;
- Whether tags, packaging, and accessories are intact; and
- Whether sufficient evidence has been provided.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right available under applicable law.
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original payment method or another legally permitted method. The time taken for the amount to reflect may depend on the payment provider or bank.
23. Customised and Personalised Products
Products that are made, engraved, resized, altered, assembled, manufactured, or customised according to your instructions may be subject to separate terms.
Once production or customisation has begun, the order may not be cancellable, returnable, or exchangeable except where:
- The product is defective;
- The product materially differs from the confirmed specifications;
- The wrong product is supplied; or
- Applicable law requires otherwise.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving names, spellings, sizes, colours, designs, initials, dates, and other customisation details before confirming the order.
24. Resale and Commercial Purchases
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, products purchased through our retail website are intended for personal use and not for unauthorised resale.
We may limit or cancel orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, distributors, or commercial buyers without prior authorisation.
Bulk, wholesale, corporate, influencer, or commercial purchases may be subject to separate quotations, minimum quantities, payment terms, warranties, and policies.
25. Communications
By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to receive essential transactional communications relating to:
- Order confirmation;
- Payment status;
- Shipping and delivery;
- Order verification;
- Cancellation or refund;
- Account security;
- Customer support; and
- Policy or service updates.
These communications may be sent through email, SMS, telephone, WhatsApp, or other available channels.
Promotional communications will be managed according to your preferences and applicable law. You may opt out of marketing communication, but you may continue to receive essential transactional messages.
26. Customer Reviews and Submitted Content
You may be permitted to submit reviews, photographs, videos, comments, feedback, testimonials, questions, or other content.
You must not submit content that:
- Is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or threatening;
- Violates another person’s privacy or intellectual property rights;
- Contains confidential information;
- Promotes unlawful conduct;
- Contains malware, spam, or unauthorised advertising;
- Impersonates another person; or
- Is unrelated to your genuine experience with the product or service.
You retain ownership of your original content. However, by submitting content to Shairaa, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, display, and communicate that content for operating, improving, and promoting Shairaa, subject to applicable privacy law.
We may remove or decline to publish submitted content where reasonably necessary, but we are not obligated to monitor every submission.

- To impersonate Shairaa, its employees, or another customer; or
- To engage in activity that could damage Shairaa, its customers, or service providers.
We may restrict access, cancel orders, suspend accounts, or take legal action in response to prohibited activity.
29. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may use or link to third-party services, including:
- Payment gateways;
- Courier companies;
- Social media platforms;
- Analytics providers;
- Advertising platforms;
- Customer support systems; and
- Other external websites or applications.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Shairaa does not control and is not responsible for the independent content, availability, security, or practices of third-party platforms, except to the extent liability is imposed on us by law.
30. Website Availability
We aim to maintain reliable access to our website but do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may temporarily restrict or suspend access for:
- Maintenance;
- Security updates;
- Technical repairs;
- System upgrades;
- Legal compliance;
- Fraud prevention; or
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may modify, discontinue, or replace website features without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
31. Disclaimer of Warranties
We will provide products and services with reasonable care and in accordance with their descriptions and applicable law.
However, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Website content is provided for general information;
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website operation;
- We do not guarantee that every product will meet subjective expectations;
- Styling suggestions are not professional, medical, or dermatological advice; and
- Product suitability may depend on personal preferences, usage, care, and individual circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a guarantee, warranty, duty, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
32. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shairaa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, remote, punitive, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products where such loss was not reasonably foreseeable.
Where our liability can legally be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a particular order will ordinarily not exceed the amount paid by you for the affected product.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from:
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Wilful misconduct;
- Gross negligence where legally applicable;
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot be excluded; or
- Mandatory consumer protection rights.
33. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Shairaa for reasonable losses, liabilities, and expenses arising directly from:
- Your unlawful use of our website;
- Your infringement of another person’s rights;
- Fraudulent activity conducted through your account;
- Content submitted by you in violation of these Terms; or
- Your material breach of these Terms.
This provision will not require a consumer to indemnify Shairaa for loss caused by Shairaa’s own breach, negligence, unlawful conduct, or failure to perform a mandatory legal obligation.
34. Force Majeure
Shairaa will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters;
- Floods, fires, or severe weather;
- Epidemics or public health emergencies;
- War, civil disturbance, or terrorism;
- Strikes or labour disruptions;
- Government restrictions;
- Internet or telecommunications failures;
- Cyberattacks;
- Power outages;
- Transport or courier disruptions;
- Supply-chain shortages; or
- Failure of third-party service providers.
We will make reasonable efforts to minimise the effect of such an event and resume performance when reasonably possible.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the website or your account where:
- You materially breach these Terms;
- You engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- Your conduct threatens the security of our website or another person;
- You misuse our policies, promotions, or payment systems; or
- Suspension is required by law or a competent authority.
Termination will not affect rights, liabilities, payments, or obligations arising before termination.

By using our website, you acknowledge that your personal information will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
37. Electronic Records and Communications
You agree that electronic records, order confirmations, invoices, notices, policies, and communications may be provided through the website, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or other electronic means.
Electronic communications will satisfy any requirement that a communication be in writing to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You are responsible for maintaining an active email address and telephone number and for reviewing communications relating to your account and orders.
38. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in:
- Our business operations;
- Products or services;
- Website functionality;
- Applicable law;
- Technology;
- Security practices; or
- Commercial requirements.
The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Changes will generally apply from the date they are published and will not unfairly alter the terms of an order already accepted by us.
Your continued use of the website after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
39. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and transactions conducted through Shairaa will be governed by the laws of India.
We encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve any concern directly and fairly.
Subject to applicable consumer protection law, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located at the place of Shairaa’s registered office in India.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from approaching a Consumer Commission, regulator, authority, or another statutory forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.

The remaining provisions will continue to remain valid and enforceable.
42. No Waiver
A delay or failure by Shairaa to enforce any provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.
Any waiver must be expressly made in writing by an authorised representative of Shairaa.
43. Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
Shairaa may transfer its rights or obligations as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, business transfer, or transfer to an affiliated or successor entity, subject to applicable law.
